• All items purchased from M&M Plant Jewellers are sold with current UK Value Added Tax (VAT), currently at 17.5% (20% in the New Year) within the price. Due to the nature of our RETIREMENT SALE we are unable to change, exchange or refund. Please be sure of your purchase. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  
  All items purchased are fully guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of invoice, but it must be stressed that half-pearls in antique jewellery are sensitive due to their age, and our liability in replacement of individual pearls is reduced thereby. There also may be slight wear to certain gemstones, and also to precious metal settings in vintage jewellery due to age.
   
• Please do not forget that gemstones and pearls are natural materials, and do have their own individuality. Some gemstones are often heated, or have minute fissures impregnated with a colourless oil, or similar colourless medium to improve their appearance.
  
  Antique jewellery also cannot be assumed to be in 100% condition. By nature of its age, there may be blemishes or slight wear on an antique, and this patina can add to the charm of individual items. However, we do not sell sub-standard items of antique or vintage jewellery, and all items sold are in good to fine condition.
